Rep. Lou Correa Votes Against Hate

Washington, DC—Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA-46) joined his colleagues in nearly unanimously passing legislation condemning hate, antisemitism, and Islamophobia.

Rep. Lou Correa said, “I am proud to have voted against hate. There is no place in our society for hatred or antisemitism and Islamophobia. As a Member of Congress, I have been a strong voice in condemning antisemitism and standing up against white supremacy.

“I was the first Member of Congress to call for a hearing following the terrorist attack in Charlottesville—renewing my call after the shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. I have continuously urged my colleagues to do more to address hate in the United States.”
