WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Representative Lou Correa (CA-46), released the following statement on constituents impacted by the war in Israel:

“I am closely monitoring the appalling terrorist assault against Israel. For U.S. citizens who are trying to leave Israel, limited commercial flights out of the country continue to operate, but may not be direct to the United States,” Correa said. “The State Department is currently exploring contract options to facilitate U.S. citizen travel to nearby countries, and will provide updates to U.S. citizens who have registered via their online form: cacms.state.gov/s/crisis-intake.”

“My office remains in close contact with the Department of State, and our other federal partners, and has already begun processing casework to ensure that impacted constituents and their families are able to flee this violence,” he concluded. “If you or someone you know is trying to leave Israel, call my office at (714) 559-6190. Rest assured: My team and I will stop at nothing to bring our constituents home.”
