Rep. Correa Releases Statement On Continued Failure To Pass A Budget

Washington, DC—Congressman Lou Correa, released the following statement about his intention to vote “No” on today’s 4th Continuing Resolution.

Rep. Correa said:

“In September, every Democrat and I voted to keep the government open and continue working on a budget for the American people. Four months and three CRs later we still do not have a budget. This is no way to run a government.

Our military, our children’s health, our DREAMers, and our country cannot continue to live in uncertainty of what will happen a month down the line. I am willing to work on solutions, but I will not be party to yet another passing of the buck. I will not vote for a fourth CR.”
