Correa Statement on DHS Leading Relocation of Afghan Allies
Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA) Chair of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Management & Accountability issued a statement following President Bidens announcement of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will be the leading agency coordinating relocation of Afghan refugees.
Rep. Lou Correa said, “As chair of the Subcommittee on Oversight, Management & Accountability, I am committing to keep DHS on task as it leads this multiagency effort to evacuate and resettle Afghan allies. In my district, my constituents have already began calling to provide assistance in any way they can.”
