Correa Applauds Creation Of Latino Smithsonian Museum
Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Lou Correa (CA-46) released the following statement applauding the inclusion of a Smithsonian Institute Latino Heritage museum in the spending bill:
“From the founding of our nation to today, Latinos have been fundamental to our nation’s history and spirit. This museum will give Americans of all backgrounds the opportunity to learn about our nation and the contribution of Latino Americans. After years of work, I am thankful for my colleagues, coming together to make this museum a reality. ”
