While Congress is still negotiating the final language of the reconciliation package, Congressman Correa joined his colleagues in calling for congressional leadership to keep several important provisions of the reconciliation package intact. Lastly, Congressman Correa, along with his colleagues, urged the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) & the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to finalize the CMS Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) Proposed Rule, including the provision to extend the Medicare “50/50” blended rate for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) in rural and non-contiguous areas.
