WASHINGTON — Today, Representative Lou Correa (CA-46) released the following statement and video remarks in response to the Supreme Court’s decision relating to birthright citizenship:

“In 1898, the U.S. Supreme Court Affirmed birthright citizenship under 14th Amendment. For the next 30 days legal experts will work to refile this case, as per United States Supreme Court instructions,” Correa said on social media. “As of today, birthright citizenship is still the law of the land. And we’ll fight to make sure it stays that way.”
