Rep. Lou Correa Proudly Votes To Protect DREAMers by Passing The Dream & Promise Act
Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA-46) released the following statement after the passage of H.R. 6 - The Dream & Promise Act.
Rep. Correa said, "When Democrats took back the House, Speaker Pelosi committed to me that she would bring DREAMer legislation to the House Floor. Today, she fulfilled that commitment.
"This legislation will allow DREAMers to live in peace and continue contributing to our great nation without fear of deportation. I am very proud to have helped make this happen. Our DREAMers have earned this. It's about time we made it right."
