Rep. Lou Correa Announces Coronavirus Funding for Orange County

Santa Ana, CA - Today, Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA-46) announced $9 million in coronavirus funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the cities of Anaheim and Santa Ana. This critical funding includes the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grants Program (ESG), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA).

Congressman Correa said, “This is critical money for our neighbors in Anaheim and Santa Ana. Countless families do not know how they will pay their bills or keep a roof over their heads. This funding will help alleviate one of those concerns. I will keep fighting for more emergency funding for struggling Orange County families. Together we can prevail.”

The Department of Housing and Urban Development grants were issued to: 

Santa Ana

CDBG: $3,374,017.00

ESG:$1,727,403.00

Total: $5,101,420

Anaheim

CDBG: $2,537,140.00 

ESG: $1,279,072.00 

HOPWA: $368,235.00 

Total: $4,184,447
