Rep. Correa’s Statement On Senate’s Failure To Protect DREAMers

Washington, DC—Congressmen Lou Correa (D-CA) released the following statement after the Senate’s failure to pass a solution for DREAMers:

“To our DREAMers, don’t lose hope. Continue to work hard, study hard, pay your taxes. You are the kind of immigrants that make America great?—?that Americans want. You’re soldiers, police officers, college students, and teachers. You’re our family and our neighbors.

Eighty-seven percent of Americans support you.

Sadly, you are pawns in a DC political game. Remember who you are. You worked hard to be here and have beaten the odds.

This struggle is not over. It’s the end of round 2 in a 15 round fight.
