Congressman Lou Correa (D-CA-46) Seeks Information On Iranian Ability To Retaliate On United States Soil
Washington DC - Today, Congressmen Lou Correa (D-CA) called for classified hearings on the capabilities of Iran's global terrorist networks to implement retaliatory attacks within the United States. As the Chairman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Transportation and Maritime Security, the Congressman has concerns about potential retaliation on domestic soil by Iran and its proxies.
The tweet reads: "Iranian General Qasem Soleimani built the world’s largest terrorist network with groups like Hezbollah.
"I’m calling for immediate classified hearings in @HomelandDems to learn if groups like Hezbollah can retaliate on American soil & what we must do to ensure the USA is secure."
