WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Representative Lou Correa (CA-46) released the following statement after voting ‘yes’ on the Main Street Capital Access Act.
“This bill helps community banks compete with Wall Street giants. It also stops the biggest banks from getting bigger by swallowing up struggling ones. This is a commonsense, bipartisan package that cuts red tape so community banks can keep lending to Main Street, without lowering the bar on safety or consumer protections.”
