Correa Votes To Pass Continuing Resolution and Keep Government Open

Critical Vote Will Ensure Federal Government Is Able To Continue Providing Resources & Aid During Pandemic

Washington D.C. — Today, Congressman Lou Correa released the following statement regarding the passage of a continuing resolution to avert shutting down the government:

"I am disappointed that, yet again, Washington gridlock is preventing us from doing our jobs and passing a budget. The COVID-19 pandemic has made shutting down the government a matter of life and death. As we continue to work towards a final agreement, we must ensure we keep our promises to the American people and help our struggling neighbors in these difficult times.”
