Washington, D.C. – A new report recently issued by the Milken Institute of Public Health finds that California would lose 333,600 jobs, and nearly a quarter trillion dollars in economic activity as a result of the Republican repeal of the Affordable Care Act. California would lose 89,500 nurses and healthcare providers, but a majority of the losses would occur in industries depended on by the middle class such as construction, real estate, retail trade, finance, and insurance.
